What can you expect during a boudoir photoshoot with Shelly Erwich Photography?

When you book a boudoir photoshoot with Shelly Erwich Photography, you can expect a guided, personalized experience from consultation to final images. Every step is designed to help you feel confident, prepared, and completely at ease.

How Does the Boudoir Booking Process Work?

From the moment you say yes, I guide you through every step of the process. We begin with a consultation where we talk through your vision, your goals, and what you want this experience to mean for you. My job is to make sure you feel prepared, supported, and completely comfortable before we ever step into the studio.

What Happens Before the Photoshoot?

Preparation is where confidence begins.
I begin by getting to know your “why.” I want to understand what brought you here and what this experience means to you. These are the most important questions I ask, because every woman has a story.

We’ll talk through your vision and what the best outcome looks like for you. Whether this is a surprise gift, a milestone celebration, or something you’re doing purely for yourself, I want to understand the emotion behind it.

What Products and Artwork Options Are Available?

We’ll talk about how you want to display your images after your session. If you were looking at just an album, or an album, wall hangings and coasters!  We can explore those avenues!

I’ll then tell you a little about the process between our first phone call and the day of the shoot.  I always want you to feel very prepared so there won’t be too many nerves on the day.  I always suggest we start chatting about it at the very least, two to three weeks before the actual session.  During that time we will go through different things, via email or messages, such as wardrobe including shoes, hair and makeup, preparing your body for the session, even how to dress for the drive to the studio, and we’ll go through concept if you have ideas to make it creative and artistic.  We use this time to get a jump on planning, instead of doing it all the week of, or heaven forbid the day before! There are things everyone forgets or doesn’t think of, so we cover all those.  We want “the day” to be effortless and relaxed, so you can feel your absolute best.

All these conversations help us build comfort and trust so that when the day of your session arrives, we can simply focus on enjoying the creative process together.

This is an experience that kicks off with your very first phone call. So, what are you waiting for? You deserve to feel that amazing rush of doing something you once thought you so couldn’t.
