About Shelly

Hi, I’m Shelly, a boudoir, portrait, and creative photographer based just outside Seattle — and I’m so glad you’re here.

Photography has always been part of my life, but what I truly love is helping women see themselves differently. Not the way the world sees you, but the way you deserve to be seen, strong, soft, real, and beautiful.

I believe every woman has something beautiful inside her, even if it’s been buried under years of self-doubt. My job (and honestly, my favorite part of it) is helping you find that again. Helping you feel like you, bold, honest, powerful, and maybe even a little surprised by how amazing you look in your own skin.

A little about me…

I started out photographing landscapes and objects (basically anything that didn’t talk back 😉). Then about 18 years ago, I turned the camera toward people, and everything changed. Since then, I’ve been hooked on capturing moments for humans, that matter.

I ran a creative photography group for over four years, we’d meet monthly for styled shoots, and it filled my cup in ways I never expected. I’ve always loved building community around creativity.

Outside the studio, I’m a total plant nerd. I have a little greenhouse, several gardens, and two parrots who rule the roost (we call them our Fids, (feathered kids). I lived in Australia for 15 years before coming back to the Pacific Northwest. And yes, my husband is an Aussie!

Why boudoir?

Because it changes how you see yourself. Boudoir isn’t about being perfect, it’s about being present. It's about giving yourself permission to feel beautiful and own that feeling, maybe for the first time in a long time.
